The motor factory has compiled some information to talk about the energy saving of the variable frequency speed motor and the difference between the variable frequency motor and the ordinary motor.

Compared with ordinary motors, there is not much difference between the inverter motor and the ordinary motor, but there is a big difference between the two in terms of function and utilization. The inverter motor is powered by the inverter power supply or inverter, and the speed of the motor can be changed, with constant torque and constant power inverter motor, while the ordinary motor is powered by the power frequency power supply, and its rated speed is relatively reliable.

The ordinary motor fan moves at the same time as the motor rotor, while the inverter motor is driven by other independent fans to dissipate heat, which can ensure the heat dissipation needs of the inverter motor in low-speed operation.

However, when an ordinary motor is used by frequency conversion and runs at low speed, it is likely that the motor will burn out due to overheating.

In addition, the inverter motor is subjected to high-frequency magnetic field, so the insulation grade is higher than that of ordinary motors, and the inverter motor slot insulation and magnet wire have extraordinary requirements to improve the ability to withstand high-frequency attack waves.

The inverter motor can be adjusted arbitrarily within its speed regulation range, and the motor will not be damaged, and the ordinary motor can only operate under the conditions of rated voltage and rated frequency.

Motor manufacturers have also developed broadband motors with a small conditioning range, which can ensure the utilization of small frequency conversions, but the scope should not be too large, otherwise the electricity will burn out due to fever.

The energy saving of inverter motors is mainly reflected in the application of fans and pump equipment.

The reason is that in order to ensure the reliability of the operation of the equipment, the manufacturer will choose a variable frequency motor with higher power when choosing the supporting motor, so as to leave a necessary surplus for the equipment.

When the ordinary motor cannot run at full load, in addition to meeting the requirements of power drive, the excess torque increases the loss of active power, resulting in the squandering of electric energy.

The traditional speed regulation essentials of fans, pumps and other equipment are to regulate the air volume and water supply by adjusting the baffle plate and valve opening of the inlet or outlet, and the input power is large, and a large amount of energy is consumed in the interception process of the baffle and valve.

When using frequency conversion speed regulation, if the flow requirement is reduced, the speed of the pump or fan can be satisfied by lowering the speed of the pump. In this way, the consumption of electrical energy is naturally reduced for the customer.
