The braking methods of three-phase asynchronous motor mainly include the following:

Energy Consumption Braking : This method is consumed by converting the mechanical energy of the electric motor into heat energy or other forms of energy. Energy consumption braking devices, braking resistors and electromagnetic brakes are commonly used energy consumption braking equipment.

Reverse braking: By changing the phase sequence of the power supply of the motor, the motor produces torque opposite to the original direction of rotation, so as to achieve rapid stopping. This method has a large braking torque, but a large energy consumption.

Regenerative braking: In some cases, the electric motor can recycle energy by feeding the generated electrical energy back into the grid through the inverter. This method requires special inverter support.
